The Avenu Wellness Center is proud to celebrate Kimberly on her induction into the 2026 Columbus State Community College Sports & Exercise Science Hall of Fame.
Kimberly's journey began at Columbus State, where she earned her Associate Degree in Exercise Science and discovered a passion for health, wellness, and helping others. She continued her education at Capital University, earning both a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Otterbein University and became a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Throughout her career, Kimberly has dedicated herself to improving the lives of others through compassionate, patient-centered care. As a Certified Nurse Practitioner with additional certification in Functional Nutrition, she has developed a special passion for regenerative and restorative therapies that support the body's natural healing processes.
At The Avenu Wellness Center, Kimberly works closely with individuals recovering from concussions, stroke, PTSD, chronic illness, surgeries, and athletic injuries. Her commitment to advancing innovative approaches to health and recovery extends beyond clinical practice. In 2025, she participated in a research program focused on developing protocols utilizing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, TMS, nutrition, and exercise to support combat veterans experiencing PTSD, post-concussion syndrome, depression, and anxiety.
Kimberly's heart for service reaches far beyond her local community. Through medical mission work around the world, she has provided care, compassion, and hope to individuals in need while living out her commitment to serving others.
While her professional accomplishments are extensive, Kimberly considers her greatest achievement to be her role as a mother to her two children.
This Hall of Fame recognition honors not only Kimberly's educational achievements and professional excellence, but also her unwavering dedication to serving others, advancing wellness, and making a lasting impact in her community and beyond.
Please join us in congratulating Kimberly on this well-deserved honor!
